It's that time of year again.  Time for Buck's summer sojourn up to visit the JVPH broodmare band up in the mountains of NW Colorado.  The difference this year is that duties are to be divided up;  A Tru Legacy will be making the trip, too.

Joni loads Legacy first, Nancy loads Buck second.

Last in, first out.  Buck says, "This doesn't look like Big Bottom!!!"  Joni tells him, "This is Maybell."  "Maybell... where in the Hell is Maybell?"

Hundreds of bicyclists ask that same question every May during the annual "Where the Hell is Maybell? bicycle ride.  It's a charity ride from Craig to Maybell (about 30 miles) to support the Maybell Ambulance Service.

Buck, being the trooper he is, makes the best of the new pasture and gathers up his band of mares.  Soon they are all out of sight.

Legacy is in new territory, in the Big Bottom pastures, so Joni leads him out towards the center of the pasture, near the mares.

Joni turns him loose and Legacy is off at a gallop towards the mares.

Legacy introduces himself to the locals.
